Holy Sweet!

I don’t know about you, but I love looking at food blogs every now and then. Not for the food so much, but for the gorgeous photography. Can’t remember how I found the Swedish blog Holy Sweet, but I certainly won’t forget these photos:

I’m drawn to things Scandinavian, probably because one of my grandmothers was Norwegian. I once researched her side of the family back to the 1500’s (Norwegians were fierce recordkeepers) and discovered I still have relatives living on the ancestral farm in Norway. One of my dreams is to walk that land one day.

In the meantime, skol!

Beautiful pictures, I agree. I occasionally buy cookbooks just for the photos. Pictures of fruit and vegetables are often quite stunning. Or market stalls with spices.
I hope you get to visit Norway. I haven’t been in Scandinavia yet but would like to go.

  2. I love photographing food in market stalls. The photo of the tomatoes in my sidebar was taken at La Boquería in Barcelona, a fantastic market. I have other shots that I haven’t gotten around to posting yet. Thanks for reminding me–I have tomorrow’s blog idea now. 🙂

Oh my gosh. Were these pictures taken in Heaven? Because, in my mind’s eye, this is exactly what Heaven looks like.

Holy Sweet. I want to go there…
