Recently I saw some dogwood blossoms on Instagram and they really took me back. I shot this pair when we lived in Maryland. I miss them, but not enough to move there again. I truly appreciate not having snow and ice to deal with.

Two years ago I planted one pink jasmine plant and this is what it looks like now. Everything grows so fast in California! Gardening out here is basically cutting things back. I love the fragrance, as it’s like the white jasmine that blooms later.

The following are spots in St. Petersburg that I shot while riding around the city. I have no idea what they are, but some are obvious like the church below.
I’m kind of an architecture buff, so I loved the buildings in St. Petersburg. Would really like to go back and shoot more.

This is a shot of the street we used to live on in Maryland. We had a big snowstorm that left almost 30″ of snow. I’m glad I was able to catch the sunset. As I write this, it’s 85 F. outside here in California. Quite the contrast. I love snow, but I don’t want to live in it anymore.
