Travel Scan: Dream Garage in Aix

We spent only two days in Aix-en-Provence, France, but it was long enough for me to realize this was one of my favorite cities in the world. Dreamy, golden light everywhere with soft breezes blowing through plane trees. Not to mention gorgeous architecture all over.

So I shouldn’t have been astonished to see a car pull into these beautiful doors guarded by carved stone cherubs beneath a wrought-iron balcony with red geraniums:

Best garage ever.

Great weekend, everyone, and Happy Fourth of July to my American readers! Monday is a holiday, so I’ll be back in a week.

  5. Lovely weekend greeting, thank you, same to you. Did you have a chance to taste the famous Callisons d’ Aix, a magnificent cookie.
