Remembering springtime on the East Coast and one of my favorite flowers, Cleome or Spider Flower.
Great weekend, everyone!
I had no idea they were called spider flowers. They are lovely.
We’ve got snow all of a sudden. After the temperatures had already rise to spring weather.
February can be a very cruel month, I remember. At least it melts quickly in the spring.
Great weekend to you too, dear Carole! Flower is so colorful! I like it!
have never seen these here in E TX – very pretty !
I think they need a colder climate, Susan. They grow like weeds on the East Coast.
Love the texture of these blooms! The temperature has been very warm — the daffodil shoots have already broken ground in some spots.
Oh, I hope the daffodils survive! I saw some in the grocery store a couple days ago and was very tempted to buy some.
Beautiful picture. 🙂
You have a great weekend too, Carole!
Thanks so much!
Such a beautiful flower, though it would deserve a lovelier name
Cleome is a lot nicer, I have to say. Are you back in the U.S. now, Cornelia?
Yes I got back from India, which was the most wonderful trip. Hopefully soon all my thousands of images will be edited and appear as pos
Looking forward to seeing them!
