I think one of my favorite things to do in San Diego is to have a drink at the Hotel Del while watching the sunset. Next time, I should turn around and have a look at the city skyline. 🙂
Oh, that is one of the best places, Jackie! You can’t actually see the skyline from the restaurants or bar, but you might be able to from a room that’s on a higher floor. Just drive over to to the ferry landing on the other side of the island. We were at Peohe’s, a great restaurant with this view.
