But it was the approaching rain and cloud formations that caught my eye:
We finally got some rain! It’s been a long, long time and we need it desperately out here.

The water restrictions here aren’t real severe, which I find surprising. We have to water yards before 10 a.m. and after 6 p.m., and we’re not supposed to water when it’s raining (!). Hopefully we won’t have a dry winter like last year, or we’re in serious trouble.
“The actual sunset was okay.” Looks like a lot more than “okay” to me, it’s pretty impressive — your propensity for understatement is showing! I like the photographs.
