The doors on Canyon Road in Santa Fe turned out to be one of my favorite subjects:
I liked the colors on this wall a lot.
The turquoise mailboxes too.
Then, of course there were the autumn leaves:
Great weekend, everyone!

The doors and all the colors are spectacular! And those reflections are amazing too – great photos! Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Glad you enjoyed them…thanks!
I’m always fond of doors and these are particularly nice.
I never get tired of beautiful doors, Caroline. Would love to see the ones near you.
Amazing and Thank you so much for sharing
And thank you for the visit and comment.
Your post made me think of the postcards that show a collage of the doors of a particular place. A friend recently went to Florence, Italy, and sent me a postcard of all the interesting doors of the city. These photos are so lovely, you could make a postcard of the doors of Santa Fe.
Thanks, Jackie. I’ve seen posters of beautiful doors and love them.
beautiful! I can’t figure out why some of the doorknobs in London are in the middle of the door. Love the colors in your photos.
Yeah, I wondered about that too! When I lived in Virigina (lots of English influences there) I saw some of those doorknobs on really expensive homes and they were kind of weird to open. 🙂
It just doesn’t make sense to my American brain. And I found them really awkward. I live in a flat that doesn’t have it in the middle thank goodness or I would have to sleep outside.
Ha ha! Yes, they are really awkward to open. Now I’m curious about the origin. If it weren’t after midnight, I would Google it.
If I start researching it, I won’t get any work done today.
A wonderful display, Carole. Fascinating that you caught the reflection of the door surroundings in the glass … it felt like I was inside looking out at the world that surrounds these homes. Bonus!
It really was a nice bonus! I don’t often get reflections that are so sharp and clear–usually they’re distorted by the glass.
