Canyon Road in Santa Fe is now one of my favorite streets. Block after block of beautiful galleries and shops and very nice scenery. I pretty much went nuts with the camera there, so I’m dividing the post into two parts. 🙂
The reflection in the window? Across the street:
Yes, those are scissors . . . .
Every now and then there’s a break in the galleries and trees so you can see the snow-covered mountains in the distance.
Part II on Friday.

Love the reflection in the window shot:)
Thank you. There was some great scenery to work with.
Santa Fe looks like such a beautiful place – the more photos I see, the more I want to visit! Thanks for sharing these, they’re wonderful!
Thanks so much. It’s a wonderful place to visit. The surroundings are amazing too.
Love, love, love the reflection site. I’m moving out west soon so I’ll have to be sure to visit here. It looks amazing!
The West is amazing! And welcome to the blog, by the way. 🙂
Have not been to Santa Fe, but these shots make me want to visit, Carole. Looking forward to Part II.
So nice to see you back here, Cheryl. Hope you’re on the mend and the house is done!
I like the shot with the reflection as well.
There’s a lovely light in those pictures. I would love to visit.
Thanks, Caroline. The light was really nice that day. We had rain one evening, but the rest of the time the weather was gorgeous.
I think the totem pole of brightly colored birds is my favorite. 🙂
You’re really making me want to go to Santa Fe!
Cool. 🙂
Missed your blog post last week.
Last weekend, I was in your neck of the woods! It was a whirlwind — only 2 days visiting friends. SD is a great town! Maybe next trip we can meet up. 🙂
Yes, definitely. Either here or in NY.
Pretty unusual to have an essentially urban collection (a Santa Fe street) with the mountain scenery included (the final photograph in Part I) — the mountain, the vista, the clouds. Maybe it’s not so urban; is it actually right in Santa Fe? The opening photo serves as a very inviting introduction. Then the fall colors and the Santa Fe colors — wow. Looking forward to Part II.
Thank you. Believe it or not, these were all taken on the same street, not far from Santa Fe’s downtown area. Such a beautiful, unique city!
Beautiful images and colors from Part1, cant wait for part 2. Thank you for sharing!!!
And thanks for the nice comment!
