We just spent a week in New Mexico and I have to say it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen. The Southwest architecture, the intensely blue skies and golden cottonwood trees made me want to take photo after photo. I have hundreds to sort through, but here’s a little preview:
This house isn’t far from the center of Santa Fe, now one of my favorite cities. It had rained the night before, so the stains on the adobe wall are from that. Otherwise we had perfect weather.
Great weekend, everyone!

Such a cool picture. Very envious.
So glad you like it.
You live in paradise. 🙂
I do miss it down there. I love Santa Fe and Taos. used to drive down there when I could.
This is going to sound stupid, but I forgot Colorado was just north of New Mexico! I’ve been to Denver so many times, but never Santa Fe. Really glad I finally made it.
Trust me, geography is not my strong suit so I won’t judge you at all.
🙂 I’m pretty strong in geography, but New Mexico has always been this vague entity for me. Growing up near Colorado, I never thought of it as near the Southwest. Seeing that Denver was a 4 1/2 hour drive from Taos was a big surprise! No wonder you did it often.
And it was a nice drive. The scenery wasn’t all that impressive, but I’ve always been fond of that part of the country so I found it beautiful.
That is a place I’ve always wanted to go! It looks magical. Can’t wait to see more photos.
You may regret saying that, Jackie. I might have to rename the blog “Scenes of New Mexico.” 🙂
I would love to visit New Mexico as well.
The photo is a nice teaser. I’m looking foward to more.
Oh, I have plenty!
Love the pictures of this lovely city! Thanks for the like! Do visit again! Namaste. . . .
Thank you. Same to you!
