I am missing the dogwood trees back East just a tiny bit, so decided to post a photo I took there a couple of years ago:
Hope your week’s going well so far. We will be out of town starting on Thursday, but I’ll be back here on November 1st.

Beautiful autumnal shot.I don’t think we have dogwood trees over here…or no one has told me. Tree recognition is still a very weak area for me π
Thanks so much.
I don’t remember ever seeing dogwood trees in Europe, but I wasn’t looking then either. They do need a particular climate, and are found in the Middle Atlantic and the South over here.
We have a tree in our front yard and I have no idea what it is, so don’t feel bad. π
Sure looks like one of those crisp autumn days. Great capture!
It was. Thank you!
Beautiful trees.
I hope you’re having a good time.
Thanks, Caroline.
Haven’t left yet, but I think we’ll have fun. Going to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where we’ve never been.
It’s funny the little things we miss when we move. Have a great time!
Thanks!
It is funny what you miss. I really missed gardenias and jasmine when I lived back East. Now I have both plants in our backyard.
Oh the dogwoods in Atlanta have a special place in my heart. Have a good trip.
Thanks, Jackie.
I had never seen dogwood trees until I moved to the D.C. area. They are beautiful year-round, in my opinion.
Atlanta is gorgeous in the springtime.
