On our way to the Black Hills, we decided to spend the night in a small Wyoming town where we encountered this billboard:
Always good to have some peace and “quite.”
We had dinner at a place that served this:
Sorry about the glare–these are iPhone shots.
After dinner, which was inexpensive and downright delicious, we saw this:
Finally, I took an instagram from the nearby gas station:
Wyoming, you are one of a kind.
Great weekend, everyone!

So was it supposed to be “quiet” or “quaint?”
It’s awfully close to “quiet.”
I’ve got an e-mail today from someone promoting a novel about “martial abuse”. Lol. I love these typos. I’m silly that way.
I am too. My favorites are bad translations in foreign hotel rooms!
From time to time, The Good Greatsby posts some funny translations from Chinese into English.
Gorgeous sunset!
Yes, I’ve seen them and they are hilarious!
The sunset is wonderful! Love the openness of the US.
Thank you. The vast landscape still surprises me.
Great post. The “Glutton” free could be on more American menus, I think! Those skies are wonderful, although I think Instagram and iPhone have a little to do with it.
It’s interesting. The iPhone and instagram do some wonky stuff, but I’m finding that the iPad camera is very true to life. In the daytime. At night, not so good. Surprisingly, the iPhone does better after dark.
Lovely sky. Quite.
I wonder if it is impossible to eat too much glutton free bread….
Ha ha!
very nice photos.. I bit the time spent there was as good as the photos
Thank you, it really was.
I love Wyoming! Was that an Arby’s sign in the third photo? I can’t remember the last time I saw an Arby’s .
Yes! I titled that photo “Arby’s Sunset.” 🙂
Do you know if they still serve curly fries. I used to love those. In high school, a friend worked there, and I ate way too many. I couldn’t do that today without getting sick.
I never eat there, but they probably still have curly fries. I loved them years ago, but they’re too salty for my taste now. I think Jack in the Box has curly fries.
