Anthropologie stores have the best stylists, I swear. I’m still kicking myself for not photographing a beautiful old canoe filled with quilts at the D.C. store. This one in Carlsbad, California is pretty nice too, though. . . .

Do you work as a photographer for Anthropolgie? I was just wondering because I know most stores won’t let you photograph their displays. I was taking pics of my daughter once in a Spencer’s as she was trying on different sunglasses and the girl there said we couldn’t. There are quite a few stores that I wouldn’t mind photographing their displays.
No, I do not. I use only a cell phone and no one has objected…yet. I’ve also heard Pottery Barn will escort you out of the store, but that hasn’t happened to me either. Lately I’ve noticed a few “No Photography” signs outside stores, and I respect that. Hopefully, the trend won’t continue.
