We were in California for Thanksgiving and I just haven’t gotten around to posting those photos. Here are a few random shots from that brief trip:
We almost made the sunset, but had to meet someone, so left before the sun hit the water. I love how clear everything is in the fall and winter out there.
While sipping coffee outside, I took this with the iPhone. I love beach cruisers. I love drinking tea or coffee under a blue sky and palm trees even more.
It looks like a threatening sky, but the weather stayed nice.
We went to the Wild Animal Park in San Diego and enjoyed it very much. The whole place has been redone and is much better than it was years ago. I’ll show you some of the fauna on Wednesday.

Ah I miss California! I grew up in Orange County.
Oh, nice! Been to OC many times.
I know I’m biased, but it was one of the best places to grow up. I don’t want to live there now since I feel it has changed a lot, but it was a kid’s paradise.
I love beach cruisers also! I wouldn’t mind riding along on a boardwalk right now. ;0
Wouldn’t that be great? We’ve had really cold winds lately after a very mild winter.
The first and the third shot are amazing. I like it how sunsets are different everywhere.

Thanks, Caroline. I think the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen have been in California. I almost took them for granted when I lived there.
