Petals

I thought for sure I’d posted this iPhone shot, but a search proved otherwise. It’s one of my favorites.

In case you’re weary of spring petals, here’s a drool-worthy cake I saw in a bakery case recently. . . .

I’m guessing that’s shaved white chocolate on top. How do people do these things?

Great weekend, everyone!

WOW – I’d never have the patience to decorate a cake like that – but sure admire the artistic person who can, so the rest of us can admire the results and say WOW !

Those petals… they look like lace in front of the sky. So beautiful.

Those flowers against the sky are so beautiful. Looking forward to the return of spring and all the blossoms, although I can’t really complain about the winter this year since it’s been so mild! That cake does look delicious and beautiful!

Inviting POV, Carole. I would need to lie down in the grass and stare through those to the sky all the while groaning from having had a slice of that decadent cake!
