While browsing in an antiques emporium recently, I felt like fall was really upon us. The lighting in the displays made everything glow with a kind of autumn patina. . . .
Hope you’re all having a good week so far. . . .

Love the lighting. I get the same feeling of fall as I visit the local farmers market and seeing the produce there displayed in baskets. I love fall but am not ready for what comes next….
Jeanne, I don’t think about the W word until the first snow falls. Just not gonna’ go there. 🙂
Great golden lighting but I’m not ready for summer to over.
If this summer hadn’t been such a scorcher, I’d be sorry to see it go, but we had the hottest July in recorded history. Wondering what summers are like in Shanghai?
Lovely pictures. The second and the last are my favourites. It is still hot here but summer is over anyway as the trees start to shed leaves.
That’s early for leaves to fall, isn’t it? I don’t remember that happening in Germany, but you’re probably at a higher elevation, Caroline.
No, it’s very flat where I live but the sudden heat of the last few makes dried them out so much. And only some trees.
Love the light quality in these beautiful shots, Carole. Autumn is my favourite season of the year so I’m excited!
I think autumn may be my favorite now too, Cheryl.
I love the colors. I’m looking forward to fall.
Me too. 🙂
It’s all so shiny and golden!
The light in this place is soooo nice.
