I do believe spring is just around the corner, but we still have some snow on the ground, so I’ll post just a few more snow and ice pics (no pun intended).
Ivy is just about the only green thing around these days. I like the blue tones in the background.
Ice on the camellias…
…and on the azaleas.
An early-morning winter sky.
If you need some warming up, here’s another bowl of phở ga, taken with the iPhone:

Love the ivy picture. The soup looks yummy with the extremely cold temps here this morning. -18F BRRRRR!
Noooooo! Oh, that reminds me of growing up in the Midwest. Be careful out there.
I like the closeup pic of the icicle on the leaf!
Thanks! I had forgotten all about it. Guess I’m more than ready for spring….
The colours in that first photo are stunning. The blue combined with the intense green of the ivy and the snow. Perfect.
Thanks, Caroline. I’m glad you like it. Shooting in the winter has been a big challenge for me.
My husband explained what a bokeh is, so yes you have a beautiful blue bokeh on the ivy picture.
🙂 A year ago, I didn’t know what bokeh was either!
