M&m cookies for you! It’s the least I could do, after killin’ your holiday buzz with my tales of Christmas woe. 🙂
There are so many cookie shots on flickr, I thought I’d give it a try. When I viewed the images on my computer, I was surprised to see pink lights on the Christmas tree, since we don’t have any. I then looked at the tree and saw sunlight bouncing off the red umbrella on our deck outside. I’m kinda’ likin’ that mauvish color.
If you want the recipe for the cookies, click here. I followed suggestions from reviewers and used a cup of butter instead of shortening. And 1/2 tsp. of salt, not a full teaspoon. Apologies to my readers overseas–I don’t have time to convert to metric measurements.
Has anyone else noticed that you can alter the direction of the “snowflakes” falling on the screen by moving your mouse? Or is that just on my end?
Yum…cookies!
I can move the snowflakes, too!
Yay!
I am happy to report I did notice the snowflake thing. Played with it for a while (have it on my German blog). I want those cookies!!! But it’s also a very charming picture, those “soap bubbles” in the back are so special. Very nice background for the cookies. With M&Ms… there’s a thought.
I didn’t even think about how the Christmas lights looked like m&ms until someone pointed it out!
I fricken LOVE this photo!!! I’ve taken some photos lately which have backgrounds similar – Christmas lights are so pretty.
Merry Christmas to you!
Thanks!
Beautiful. All cookies should be wrapped up in a pretty bow. I love this!
I wish I were industrious enough to do stuff like this all the time. I’m no Martha, that’s for sure. 😉
Love the cookies almost as much as the photo. I love the Christmas lights in the background. I haven’t played with the snowflake feature yet. I may have to check it out. Jeanne
