I do hope you’re not sick and tired of autumn leaves! I admit I’m a little obsessed this year…can’t remember a fall so beautiful or long-lasting. These little “pennies” were shot a couple weeks ago and I nearly forgot them.
I like these oak leaves because they look a little bit like paper dolls or Christmas ornaments….
Just some simple dogwoods.
OK, here’s a camellia that was shot the same day. Thought for sure I’d posted this before, but a search says no.
Thanks so much for taking the time to view my blog. I really appreciate it.
I will never be sick of autumn leaves.
And I thought of you when I tried to capture a very pink cloud in a darkening sky, and failed utterly. 🙂
Skies are tough! I don’t photograph them often because I’m usually disappointed in the results. It’s very hard to capture that part of Mother Nature, in my opinion.
I’ve never seen an oak leaf that looked quite like the ones you’ve photographed here. Beautiful! So glad you posted!
Thanks! I think they might be from a pin oak? I used to know all the different names but they’re escaping me right now.
These are beautiful, the colors are wonderful. One of my favorite things about fall is the saturation of color that comes with the changing of the leaves. Beautiful photos!
I really love the color too. It’s going to be tough finding things to photograph when the leaves are gone. I’ve been looking around the house lately trying to find something photogenic. 🙂 May have to go into D.C. more, but that’s OK.
