A lighthouse and some eye candy

Isn’t she a beauty? I love this lighthouse, and am so glad the light was good when we came by. It’s the Sankaty Head lighthouse near Siasconset, Nantucket. They actually moved this thing back in 2007 because of erosion.

Siasconset again. You can stay at the Cliffside Beach Club for a mere US$895 a night. 😉

I’ll leave you with some Nantucket eye candy….

I’d like to eat breakfast here every morning. Do you think the shopkeeper would mind?

Have a great weekend, everyone. Monday’s a holiday in the States, so I’ll just post a pic (or two).

P.S. I’m toying with the idea of a separate page for my “musings.” Some have asked for more writing, so I’ll work on getting that page up soon. You may have also noticed my blogroll is missing. It was getting so long, I decided to put it on a separate page as well. There are some really beautiful blog buttons/badges out there! I dream of having one…someday.

Eye candy indeed! Thanks for the treat.

Here’s hoping Nantucket weathers Mr. Earl well today . . .

  2. Thanks, Ms. Spock. Yes, it looks like a bad time to be on Nantucket. I hope the people are all right.

    She? Interesting. I like it.

Anyway, I love this place but US$895 a night?

  4. Great shots! I loved the visit you provided. Very nice post.

Oh my- that lighthouse is so beautiful! 🙂 And if that shopkeeper wouldn’t mind, I think I’d like to have breakfast there every morning too!
