Variations on a Sunset
I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of sunsets at the beach. Each one is so different and so beautiful. What’s struck me recently is how the sky changes just a few feet in another direction: Facing west. Looking towards … Continue reading
A Couple of Favorites
Sea lavender, one of my favorites, is in bloom again at one of my favorite spots, La Jolla Cove. We really are spoiled here having everything bloom before the end of March. Only the jasmine isn’t out yet, but there … Continue reading
A Dose of Vitamin Sea and My Favorite Drink
I was about ready to jump in this ocean over the weekend. So hot here! Before, it was rare to see temps in the 90s in September, but not anymore. I am sooo thankful we put in A/C last summer. … Continue reading
Cactus Flower

Hang Gliders and a Vulture
We were driving through La Jolla a couple of months ago, and on a whim, decided to check out the Torrey Pines Gliderport. . . . This is where it all starts. On tall cliffs overlooking the Pacific. The shot … Continue reading
Torrey Pines
One of my favorite places in San Diego County–Torrey Pines Reserve. You can walk along cliffs that overlook the ocean, and you can see for miles. The land mass on the left in the distance is Catalina Island. I took … Continue reading
