Even though we don’t get them in California, I have a lot of tulip magnolia shots to remember them by. Here’s one of my favorites:
And is anyone else watching Dr. Foster on Netflix?

Each episode pretty much leaves me with my mouth hanging open. It’s about a doctor in England going through a tough divorce after learning that her husband was cheating on her. Having been through a painful divorce, I know that it can make you a little cuckoo. But this woman takes it to another level. The actress who plays the doctor, Suranne Jones, is brilliant.
I’m still working on the Grand Canyon post and hope to have it up next week.
Great weekend, everyone!

Love those tulip trees! I’m contemplating saying goodbye to expensive cable tv and subscribing to Netflix – only watch 4 – 6 out of 120 channels anyhow.
Yeah, I’m thinking the same thing, Susan. It’s got to be a lot cheaper.
Me too, I adore magnolias!
🙂 They might just be my favorite.
Oh, I never get tired of these either!
I haven’t seen this show on Netflix, but I’ll look for it. I’ve gotten hooked on Versailles. Caroline recommended it. The costumes and set design alone are worth watching. 🙂
You’re so lucky to have them in New York!
Versailles is so beautiful.
I’m also watching Killing Eve, which is a total thriller. Sandra Oh is really good, but the assassin is a true psychotic. Not for the fainthearted. Coincidentally, one of the actresses is in Dr. Foster and Killing Eve.
I’m so glad to hear you like it. I’m waiting impatiently for season two.
A great series I watched it twice.
Wow, I thought of doing that myself. At the very least, I need to re-watch the last episode, because I thought more seasons were coming. The writer hasn’t ruled out another season, but it won’t be before 2019.
So pretty Carole!
Thank you, Lynn!
I liked Dr Foster very much as well.
I’m tempted by The Alienist right now although I haven’t read the novel yet. The costumes look sumptuous. I’ve heard so many good things about the book that I’m quite torn. I gues, I’ll watch it anyway soon. “Paranoid” is another British crime series that’s not bad at all.
We didn’t have a full Magnolia bloom this year. They started and then it got so cold again. It was still beautiful only not as magnificent as last year.
One of my friends is watching The Alienist and loves it. Not my genre, but I may give it a try.
Thanks for the Paranoid rec, Caroline.
Our weather has been so cool and wet lately, I feel like I’m back on the East Coast in March. So strange.
I know what you mean but I think The Akienist is different because it’s a period drama.
We had the hottes April ever. Temperatures around 28 – 30C. Never seen anything like it and now it has dropped again. It’s all topsy-turvy.
