“The wind that makes music in November corn is in a hurry. The stalks hum, loose husks whisk skyward in half-playing swirls, and the wind hurries on. . . . A tree tries to argue, bare limbs waving, but there is no detaining the wind.” ~Aldo Leopold
Great weekend, everyone!

What a great photo of fall foliage ! Our (limited) fall displays are seriously delayed – who knew it’d be this warm this late in the year ? We don’t have great color anyhow, but am wondering if/when we’ll see any !
Thanks, Susan! I took this in Maryland where the autumns are gorgeous. Out in California we get one or two trees that change color, but that’s it. Wouldn’t live anywhere else, though. 🙂
Wishing you a happy fall season, Carole! This is my favorite time of year. 🙂
When I lived back East, it was my favorite too, Jackie. Enjoy all that fall color…New York does it so well.
Have a great weekend!
Thank you!
Wow, this picture is amazing! Happy weekend to you too!
Many thanks to you, Ann. 🙂
Beautiful picture.
I love autumn.
It must be beautiful in Switzerland, Caroline.
So beautiful
Thank you, Lynn! Hope the writing is going well.
Thanks!
Such beautiful colours and light you have captured in this photo. It radiates the seasons changing nature. May you have a great autumn—what’s left of it. 🙂
Thank you…same to you!
