Happy to say I’m finally starting to feel better. This virus or whatever really had me down.
Our trip last week was to the D.C. area to see family and we landed at Reagan National Airport for a change. I had never been inside the new terminal and was really impressed:
Lots of tall windows and arches and gleaming floors. Cool-looking restaurants and shops too. Wish I’d had more time to take photos, but we were hurrying to our gate.
I managed to capture two random mosaic patterns in the floor:
Great weekend, everyone!

So glad to hear you are better, Carole! Wow, impressive pictures, airport looks like an art gallery! Wish you nice weekend!
Thank you! I’ve never gotten a flu shot, ever. May have to after this.
Thanks so much. 🙂
Glad u r feeling better – on my way to get flu shot b-4 our trip, next week.
Glad you’re feeling better. Summer bugs are the worst!
I don’t think I’ve ever been this sick in the summer, Jackie. Still don’t have 100% of my hearing, but feeling more and more human.
I’m glad to hear you are feeling better. A virus can really knock you out.
This is an impressive airport. Not as cold and functional as most of those I’ve been to.
Thanks, Caroline.
The old terminal is dark and really drab compared to the new one. It was built in 1941.
