Back to the archipelago. The water was like glass. You can see how calm in this photo with the small wake.
Now I’ll be quiet so you can just enjoy the ride.
Another cruise ship was ahead of us most of the way. They must have been on a tighter schedule, because at one point our ship let them pass us. Or maybe some passengers had been lingering in the duty free shop. š
Great weekend, everyone!

The song [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJvC9IBJrI0 ] says West Virginia is almost heaven, but the songwriter (John Denver) evidently hasn’t seen the Stockholm Archipelago. Or maybe it ‘s a tie.
Anyway, your photographs make me nostalgic for a place I’ve never visited! Very well done, Ms. Pearl. Very well done.
I think you may be right about that. š
I just enjoy, thank you!
Thanks so much!
The water looks so limpid. Lovely pics, Carole.
Thanks, Caroline. Limpid is a great word for it.
When I was gliding along the water with your lovely photos, I kept thinking about something you mentioned in the previous post that the small buildings by the water are often saunas. How amazing must that be to take a sauna while watching the ships roll by.
I agree, it must be pretty remarkable!
that looks excellent š
