Pink Chiffon and Solitaire

I’m still working on the photo organization, sigh. Thought I was on the home stretch until I hit the “Cape Cod” folder with 285 photos. That’s OK, the whole experience has been very educational.

Here are a couple shots of a peony that makes me think of pink chiffon:

This could be fun to paint. All those shades of pink!

My husband has just introduced me to playing Solitaire on the iPad. I haven’t played that game since I was a kid. Now I’m addicted. Any other games I should try? I’ll be flying overseas this summer, so I need some good ones. No Angry Birds, please. 🙂

Great weekend, everyone….

The first one really looks like a painting. That would be so hard to capture on canvas.
I don’t play any online games – or any games really but I hear it’s addictive. I think Candy Crush is one that’s much liked.

    • Yes, it would be challenging to paint for sure, Caroline. I don’t play online games, just by myself on the iPad. There would be too much pressure to play against other people. 🙂 Haven’t heard of Candy Crush at all.

  2. Susan says:

    That’s really gorgeous!
I’m hooked on Spider Solitaire, level II! But Dale and Randy like Free Cell

    • Oh, I will have to check that one out, Susan! I don’t think of myself as real competitive, but I have been disappointed if I win a game that’s been won before. I want to win the tougher random ones!

  3. Nguyên-Kan says:

It is so soft and delicate!

  4. I can’t recommend any computer games. I’m such a fuddy-duddy. 🙂
I like the softness of these photos. I couldn’t do them justice with paint, but they have a lovely Georgia O’Keeffe feeling about them.

    • Thanks, Jackie.
I would never consider you a fuddy-duddy. 🙂 I only play Solitaire and a word jumble game on the iPad, so I’m no techie, that’s for sure. Thought I would enjoy doing crossword puzzles on the iPad, but it’s not as fun. There’s just something about the pen on paper. . . .

Oh…and Words with Friends! It’s like Scrabble…I’m seriously addicted! Play with me!! 🙂

  6. Shelley says:

    Carole,
I like the “softness” of your pictures…..I have a few games to recommend…:) Spider Solitare, Sudoku and Candy Crush! It’s fun, but addictive and challenging….. Shelley
