I shot this outside Taos, New Mexico. The light was so strange that day. In Taos, it was sunny and dry, but as we drove north, we saw rain and then a rainbow.
The truck was completely in shadow, so the iPhone had trouble adjusting, but I like the way this turned out. The watercolor sky provides such a sharp contrast to the rusty old pickup. And the WordPress snowflakes add a funny touch, don’t they?

I’d forgotten about the WordPress “snow.” Will have to come up with some wintery images now. 🙂
I like the match between the blue with grey-white thrown in, in the old truck; and the blue in the sky with grey-white clouds. Well done!

Thank you. WordPress turns on the “snow” in December every year. I think they turn it off right after New Year’s.
I just looked it up, and you can add the snow by going to Settings, General and then checking the box next to Snow. Hope this helps!
My favorite part are the clouds and the soft light on them. The snowflakes do add a neat touch. 🙂
