While strolling through a farmer’s market recently, I caught some sunshine. . . .
Some cosmos too.
Oh yes, there were vegetables. Fruit and nuts and fudge too. Ever tasted pattypan squash? I love squash, but haven’t tried this one.
I like that the sunflower on the right has a heart shape.
Great weekend, everyone!

A feast of colors, Carole. So beautiful.
We have warm temperatures again but the trees sart to look autumnal.
Glad you like them, Caroline. It is much warmer here too, after a coolish summer. I will miss seeing autumn foliage.
The flowers are so pretty! Did you end up buying some for your home?
No, not this time. I might have to get some sunflowers now that fall is around the corner.
Welcome to the blog!
I like the look of cosmos. In this part of France, cooperatives of flower sellers plant wasteland and vacant pieces of land with them: they’re free for anyone to come and cut to take home. Nice idea:)
What a great idea.
The colors in the flowers photos are tops! — which causes me to contemplate something thing I’ve noticed on Pearls and Prose: I find I love your vivid colors, and I love your pastels. Hmmmm . . .
I appreciate that. 🙂
I love the farmers market. I just went this morning and found bushels and bushels of apples of all different varieties! Fall is almost here. 🙂
It’s funny…now that September is here, we’re having hot weather! Not like fall at all. I do miss picking apples back East when autumn comes.
I’m speechless ! Glorious !
Thank you. 🙂
Just wonderful!!!
Thanks, Jennie!
