Tea Rose

I just picked the first lemon off my semi-dwarf Meyer Lemon tree. I’m kind of amazed, because I put the tree in a container, and wasn’t sure if lemons would really grow on it. In the spring there were wonderful-smelling blossoms, then these little hard green spheres. Finally, this month they all turned yellow. The lemons are kind of small, but a slice in my cup of tea was just right. . . .

Hope your week’s going well.

  3. I love the softness of the photo. I wonder how I could do that to my photos…

    • It’s very easy if you have Photoshop or Elements. Just add a fill layer of any color you want, then adjust the opacity until you get the desired effect. Be sure to make a duplicate of your original image before you start working on it.

  6. Everything about this is perfect – the rose, the tea, the slice of lemon …
