We now have old-fashioned Coke with real sugar in the grocery store!
Believe it or not, the social media manager of Coca-Cola in Colombia emailed and asked if he could put the above photo on their Facebook page. I figured, why not.

I don’t doubt that for a second. I saw the first shot and – once again – thought “Terrific postcard shots”. The combination is really wonderful, of the flags and the Coca-Cola bottles.

Thanks! I remember how different it was to be out of the country during American holidays. I would feel a little strange celebrating Independence Day in London. 😉
The Better Half’s first day of work in London was on July 4th. I thought that was funny. At the time I was still living in Boston.
I used to post photos to a site with mostly Brits on it and felt kind of funny on July 4. I’ve never asked what they think of our celebrating independence from them…they probably think we were “daft”! 🙂
I invited one of our English friends for a drink on the 4th and she couldn’t make it. but she did tell me to have a happy independence day in a jolly way. To be honest, I don’t think they care all that much, but I could be wrong.
