Orange Avenue

On a stroll down Orange Avenue in Coronado. . . .

A vintage canoe decorated with paper or fabric, filled with spheres that look like giant scoops of gelato.

Pretty for a party, yes?

“Cake Heaven,” the best kind of place.

Valentine’s Day approaches.

A doll awaits.

Handknit caps to ward off recent chills.

Outside, architecture that dazzles.

Yet another display, beautifully laid out.

Bags that capture the spirit of Coronado.

Sweet baby shoes.

Lastly, a nod to nearby Hotel del Coronado.

Great weekend, everyone. . . .

Such a colorful post. I really thougth those were ice cream cones at first.
We have a real snow storm at the moment. I just came home and it’s dark and cold. Thanks for this warming post. I’d fancy one of those caps.

    • You say the nicest things, Caroline. Thank you. I have to say I miss snow just a tiny bit, so will probably have to drive up in the mountains to see it before the spring comes. We’re supposed to have gorgeous weather for the next week, so I need to hurry. 🙂 Stay warm!

Love the colors. So California! And Valentine’s day–I’m still recovering from that last holiday. Have a wonderful weekend.

  3. I could browse in stores like this all day. There’s always something interesting to discover.

Fabulous array, Carole. I especially love the table legs where the doll waits …

  5. Lady Jennie says:

Some of that stuff would be too hokey for me, but I would love browsing.
