Even though I’m not in New England, I am enjoying the leaves falling in our neighborhood. I think they’re poplar, but not sure. Each one is so different:
I especially like the one floating in our birdbath. . . .
We bought this birdbath just a few months ago, but it’s looking rather weathered. I like it.
Hope your week’s going well. . . .

Love the birdbath one !
Thanks, Susan!
These are incredible photos. Who would have thought leaes could be this beautiful. Each is like a piece of art. The one in the water is especially nice.
I have lived in California before, but never noticed these leaves, Caroline. It’s funny, when we go for walks, I’m tempted to pick them up, but there are too many!
I didn’t realize that the leaves change color in SD. They are so unique. Nice to see — all the leaves have fallen here.
Well, it’s only one kind of tree, Jackie. 🙂 And the leaves don’t all fall on the ground–just a few each day. I’ll be watching to see if the tree gets completely bare.
Stunning array of leaf colours, Carole … all from the same tree?
No, three. 🙂
I LOVE that last picture!
Thanks, Jennie!
