“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.”
~Rabindranath Tagore
Monday is a holiday in the U.S. (Labor Day) so I’ll be back on Wednesday. Have a great weekend, everyone!

That’s a dramatic looking sky. The trees and houses look like a paper silhoutte. Do you know Lotte Reiniger’s movies? Like that.
I’d like to read Tagore.
No, I haven’t heard of her. I’d like to read more of Tagore too.
What tranquility in this photo – beautiful!
Thanks, Meg. There is something so soothing about a sunset on the ocean.
what a beautiful scene – enjoy your long weekend
Thanks, you too!
Simply gorgeous! Did you take these sunset photos with your phone?
Any apps that you’d recommend?
Yes, I did. As for apps, I have several, but find I use only Instagram, PhotoToaster and Picfx. PhotoToaster for cropping, and Picfx for the occasional texture. Instagram has certain effects and I use them from time to time. But the more I use the iPhone camera, the more I like the shots unadulterated. I didn’t use any apps on this one.
Thanks for the tips! I’ve never used Photo Toaster or Picfix before. I’ll have to check those out. I’ve used PicMonkey and I’ve liked the effects that they have to offer. But more often than not, the original photo is the one I like best. 🙂
Yeah, I think the special effects are fun at first, then not so much.
Enjoy the holiday! Wonderful photo!
🙂
Love the quote. And the depiction.
Thank you.
