One of the things I missed most while living in the D.C. area was really good Mexican food. We stopped at a favorite restaurant in San Diego County and I thoroughly enjoyed this taco chicken salad:
The decor was pretty colorful and lively too.
Even the ceiling detail was beautiful. . . .

I love Mexican food. I really like it a lot. We have only one restaurant here. It’s not as colorful. The decor on the ceiling is very pretty.
It is so good to have real Mexican food available again! I once thought Taco Bell was good enough. 🙂

Good guacamole, not the watery kind you find in most places.
I don’t think I’ve ever had watery guacamole. That sounds terrible! The best is when they make it right at the table. Amazing.
And not just Mexican food, but the real thing, I’m sure! Want some … haven’t been to Mexico in a couple of years.
I haven’t either. Even though we’re pretty close to Tijuana, it’s gotten dangerous in the past few years. Would love to see Cabo, though.
