A Southwest Sky

This was taken somewhere in the Southwest–either New Mexico or Arizona. The skies are so blue and the clouds so beautiful. It was over 100F. when I took this and I had to watch for rattlesnakes.

Great weekend, everyone!

  1. Just too hot …and rattlesnakes. Looks beautiful though. You’re brave pioneers:)

    • Ha ha, not really. I took very few photos because we were on mostly interstate highways with huge trucks. No one stopped on the side of the road unless they were broken down. I tried shooting from the car, but the wind was so strong I was worried about losing the iPad.
Can’t imagine how pioneers crossed the desert without modern amenities.

Rattle snakes… That reminds me of poor Rocky’s misadventure. I hope he will stay very safe.
I like this type of fluffy looking clouds.

  3. Cheryl says:

We golfed a course in Nevada that had rattlesnake hazard signs! Beautiful shot … such a deep blue sky – mountains on the horizon.

  4. fluffy puffy clouds over a desert! a lovely moment you’ve captured here 🙂
