I have a lot going on in my life right now, so will have to cut back to one photo a day for a while. Here’s a look back at some Kwanzan cherry blossoms, which will soon be reappearing in the D.C. area:
“I will be the gladdest thing under the sun!
I will touch a hundred flowers
And not pick one.”
~Edna St. Vincent Millay
I’ve never seen the Cherry Blossoms…and I’ve lived in the DC Metro area my entire life. Maybe I should add that to my 35 Before 35 List.
I highly recommend seeing the blossoms around the Tidal Basin, Thoughtsy.
Lovely photo! I was in D.C yesterday and I saw quite a few on the national mall starting to come into bloom! So excited.
I know! We saw some tulip magnolias in bloom yesterday too.
These are some of my favourites. I hope your time is not too stressful.
Thanks, Caroline. Sending you an email.
Great photo…I hope everything is ok.
Yes, my life is just too hectic right now. It will be calmer in a few months.

Lovely. Delicate tones. There’s a promise here …
The trees are budding all around us, Cheryl. I think the cherry blossoms will be early this year. Hope you’re staying warm in Fla.
Those are beautiful – I don’t know that I’ve ever seen cherry blossoms up close – thanks for the view!
Glad to provide them! I did miss the cherry blossoms when I lived in Calif.
