Since it’s February, I thought a few images of bleeding hearts would be in order. Probably my second favorite flower to photograph, after peonies.
Hope you all had a great weekend. . . .

Very nice, thanks for sharing.
Thank you, and welcome to the blog!
I love these flowers. I wish I could grow them, but I don’t have much luck with them.
I don’t either! Luckily I have neighbors who can grow them. π
Beautiful!
Thank you. π
They are such frail things. I like them a lot. Didn’t you call them little dancers before?
I believe you’re thinking of fuchsias, Caroline. They look a lot like little ballerinas. Here’s an example: http://bit.ly/xG1xOd
Love the photos!
Thanks so much.
Spectacular and yes, appropriate for the month. You really are having fun going through all those pics, aren’t you! ENJOY.
It has been fun discovering shots I’d forgotten about, Cheryl. A 365 project really makes for a lot of images. I’m getting weary of sorting them, though, and will glad to be done.
I love these little flowers. They’ll be popping out soon with the spring-like weather we’re having.
We’re supposed to get a little bit of snow tonight and it will be the first in a long, long time. Hopefully the spring flowers won’t be affected.
Wow, what amazing flowers!!! I’ve never heard of them before but they are so beautiful.
So they don’t grow in Australia? Probably too warm there. I had never seen them until I moved to the East Coast years ago. They are pretty amazing.
Great pictures. I’m not sure I’ve seen these flowers before.
Hey, thanks for stopping by. I’m pretty sure bleeding heart grows in Japan, but Shanghai, China may be too warm.
I loved first shot!!
Glad to hear it. π
