I’d like to thank my sweet husband for all the help he gave me on the 365 project. It would have been so much harder without him.
Thanks, honey, for driving me to places with very little parking so I could jump out and get my shot, and thanks for waiting to take that first bite so I could photograph your dinner! You are the best. π
As promised, here’s a mosaic of some “non-pastel” shots from the 365:
The “mosaic maker” crops the photos quite a bit, so if you’d like to see the entire shot, just click on one of the links below.

On a funnier note, I just saw this message in my spam folder:
“somehow identified your internet site when i was kind of stoned. very good read 269776”
Great weekend, everyone! π
I love the vibrancy of the colors in today’s selection. The pastels were lovely, but this one really gets my senses charged for some reason. My favorite is the sunflower of course. π
I’m a big fan of sunflowers too, Jackie.
I thought I was a pastel girl but now I love these even more. They really perk me up.
Oh, I’m glad your husband was so patient…. All the lovely photos we could see thanks to that. π
I am a split personality when it comes to color–I like soft pastels and brights.
He is a gem, for sure. π
Lovely as usual Carole. I’d love to find more time to spend with the mosaic maker. So much fun!Jeanne
It is fun, Jeanne! Usually they kind of fall into place for me, but this one took a while. Probably because of all the yellows.
Another spectacular array!
You’re too kind, Cheryl. Hope all is well up North.
Your photos are always so beautiful. This mosaic is awesome!
Thanks, Bonnie. π
Simply gorgeous! Teri Westover
Awww, thanks, Teri!
Hi, I love your photo mosaic of plants. I especiallly like the coleus shot which is how I found this blog after posting about coleus seed planting today. I’m going to have to try and find out how to create these mosaics….very lovely. Kathy
Thank you, and welcome to the blog. I always like hearing how people find this site.
I created the mosaic with BigHugeLabs and Flickr. If you want to try it, here’s the link:

It is free, so ignore the stuff about pricing and adding to your cart.
Some gorgeous reds and purples! I have done the same thing to my family at times, making them wait while I photograph their dinner so I can post a photo with a recipe!
Thank you! Glad I’m not the only one. π Sometimes I feel kind of bad for making people move out of the food shot.
