My Happy New Year card for you:
Hope the holidays were good to you this year. I had some fun with Christmas light bokeh. . .
and I made my favorite frosted sugar cookies. Martha Stewart would not approve of my cookie decorating, but they taste so good!
See you Wednesday. 🙂

Happy new year. Beautiful shots. 🙂
Thank you!
Listen, as long as the cookies taste good, who cares if they don’t meet M.Stewart’s visual expectations. Love the pics today . . . Happy New Year !
It’s funny–I’m kind of a perfectionist when it comes to a lot of things, but not cookie decorating. I just slap on the frosting any old way. 🙂 I do admire people who can do it well. Hope 2012 is one of the best for you, Susan!
Happy New Year, Carole.
That’s a stylish card. Very elegant.
I like the Christmas bokeh as well.
Thanks, Caroline! I’ve missed reading your book reviews. Just finished the Hamish MacBeth book and enjoyed it very much.
So glad to hear it. They are nice and short and I really like the character Hamish.
I do too. It was interesting to read about the customs in northern Scotland also.
Lovely photos Carole. At least you got the cookies made. More than what happened at my home.:) Happiest of New Years to you!
Jeanne, will it make you feel better if I tell you I made these cookies after Christmas? That cookie dough chilled a lot longer than the recommended 2-3 hours. 😉
Mmmmm…cookies…. Happy New Year!
Same to you, Thoughtsy. 🙂
Love the way the colored lights look like bubbles rising out of the golden bowl! Happy New Year!
Wishing you a peaceful, joyful new year, Carole. May 2012 bring lots more great photos!
Thanks so much, Jackie.
Wishing you a very Happy New Year. I like Christmas light bokeh shots and your cookies seem quite yummy..
Thank you. 🙂
