A couple of you discovered that I changed my avatar and header over the weekend. I’ve been wanting to change them for a while, but wasn’t sure what I wanted. When I uploaded this shot of pearls on Flickr recently, someone suggested using it as an avatar and I liked the way it turned out. Hope you do too.

I’ve also added a search box at the bottom of the page. If you want to see all the posts on Cape May, for example, just enter that in the box and the appropriate posts should come up.

Love the new look Carole. I tried changing my avatar last week but was unsuccessful in getting it to show up. Maybe I will try again soon.
Thanks, Jeanne! This should have been a much easier process than it was. I tried changing it last week and lost my image altogether. The thing that finally worked for me was unchecking “Preserve Website Favorites Data” when I cleared my cache. Hope it works for you.
I still like the new look. I think the way you cut the larger picture is just perfect.
I really appreciate that, Caroline. I was constrained by the pre-established WordPress header size, so didn’t have a lot of options. I’m not crazy about the black border, but don’t have the expertise to change it. I really need to take a web design class, but just don’t have time.
