Ahhhh, the color collage that is autumn. My favorite season, too! Great photos, Ms. Pearl.
Thank you!
Oh my, how I envy your fall colors. . . here in E.TX, we’re limited to green, yellow and brown this year – translate that as: trees still alive, trees barely hanging on, and trees already dead due to our extended drought . . . it’s really pitiful.
We didn’t have a lot of fall color in California either, Susan. I think that’s why I love the autumn leaves here so much.
A great quote! Love it. And beautiful photos. The trees here aren’t really putting on a show yet like the ones you have, which is strange. Hopefully soon!
I would have thought New York was in full color by now too. But I looked at some photos from last year and we had some gorgeous maples in mid-November.
These leaf photos just make me smile. 🙂
Thanks so much. You have some gorgeous shots on your blog.
I do miss the autumn show of changing leaves.
I was in California for 10 years and really missed it too. You will feel better when I start posting photos of ice and snow. 🙂
Such beautiful photos.
For some reason I like the 5th a lot.
Spectacular, Carole, particularly with the bright sunshine. Our autumn is going by too quickly, daily rain and highwinds are stripping the trees very quickly. Fall is my favourite season as well and I think I’ll have to enjoy it through your pictures this year.
Your leaf photos are really beautiful, thanks for sharing them! I love the colors of fall, and I can’t seem to stop taking pictures everywhere I go!
