Another bleeding heart for you. The first one was in a neighbor’s yard. I bought this one last week and planted it over the weekend. Straight out of the camera with a tiny crop all around.
Honestly, is there any better green than that of new growth in the springtime?

The new green of the leaves is so beautiful – pale and soft.
Lovely shot!
Thanks. 🙂 I think that green is my favorite.
Yes the green in spring is very special. This photo is amazing, the green of the background almost looks like a canvas and makes the green of the plant look three-dimensional.
Yes, I may have to paint this one, Caroline.
Really beautiful color contrast! I love bleeding hearts.
Me too. 🙂
Gah!!! Fabulous shot Ms. Pearl. Those are so beautiful…I must have one. 🙂
I know what you mean! Had to buy one myself.
Amazing! I love the color and the clarity of the flower
Thank you! I’m glad the light was good that day.
Very beautiful, the colors are so saturated that it doesn’t even look real. I wish I could see something like this around here 🙂
I almost thought about desaturating this, then decided against it. You just can’t beat Mother Nature. 🙂
Spring greens are my favorite for sure. I love looking across the hill as I come home from work in the spring and see the hill turn from browns to spring green as the leaves start to emerge on the branches.

The green & the pink together are just lovely.
Thanks, Jennie.
