So THAT’S witch hazel! I see it around my neighborhood from time to time and wasn’t sure.
The sun backlighting makes it look beautiful. They haven’t been blooming here just yet so I’ll look to your photos to enjoy what is to come.
Yes! I had heard of it for years and never knew what it looked like. Would love to plant one in our yard, as it blooms early and brightens the winter landscape.

I am not sure if we have witch hazel. The snowdrops are out here as well but I haven’t seen any pussy willow yet but maybe just because I didn’t pass any. The daffodils and crocuses are everywhere now. It is still chilly but it gets a little bit warmer every day. the light in the witch hazel photo is very nice.
