I do. These grayish-brown days of winter are really getting old.
My favorite bowl from anthropologie filled with lemons. Yes, lemons. I was shooting in natural light with tungsten bulbs overhead and a halogen lamp on one side. I fiddled with the white balance a dozen times and finally gave up. Only the lemons are the wrong color, so I’m happy with the results.
Clementines from Spain. They have them at the grocery store about once a year and you have to buy a whole case. Luckily, they’re small and very sweet.
Dark chocolate Hershey Kisses next to a pothos. My husband prefers dark chocolate, so I keep these around for him. I love chocolate, but I can resist the dark variety. One is enough, thank you.
Just a reminder that I’ll be off tomorrow. Have a great weekend, everyone….

I’m with you on needing some color in this long dreary winter. Yesterday I bought some dyed daisies at the grocery store for my kitchen and an orchid for my office desk. Have fun at your class!
I found real daffodils at Whole Foods yesterday! Will take some photos and post them next week.
Thanks, Jeanne. Hopefully the class will go better tonight.
I have clementines and dark chocolate kisses at home, too. Have a great weekend!
Cool. Hey, you too!
You always overload my senses and that is a good thing! Fabulous shots, I love the first one, it is my favorite but they second shot comes in close 🙂
Thanks so much, Mindy. I hope you’re on the mend.
I did. Don’t now after seeing these beautiful photographs! Thanks.
Cheryl, I feel your pain. I don’t know how you can stand winters up there.
Just what I needed on another cooold winter day. These shots definitely have me thinking, “Spring!”
Awesome!
I’m need of color as well. I like them all. I like that ethnic bowl. I brought some similar ones home from Morocco. But it could also have a Mexican influence.
I’ll bet they are beautiful. This one was made in China.

Beautiful! I’m with you on the dark chocolates, but if there’s no other chocolate in the house, I find I suddenly have an affinity for it.
Have fun at class tonight!
Thanks, Maura. I always have chocolate in the house.
Lovely! I really needed some color too.
I’ll have more on Monday. 🙂
I love that bowl – totally my taste.
