“Annette looked at the geraniums, very red against the blue sky. ‘No matter how I try, I cannot find any thread of such a red. My bleeding hearts drip stuff muddy in comparison.’”

We’re going to the East Coast for a few days, so I’ll be back next Tuesday.

I have lilac and pink geranium but the red are prominent in Switzerland, especially near the Alps.
Hope you have a great time.
Thanks, Caroline.
I remember the window boxes with red geraniums in Germany and Switzerland–so beautiful against the white walls.
– and you got the red right, too :O)
Thanks, and welcome to the blog. 🙂
That is a great red. I think I like these flowers better than roses. So much more approachable.
Enjoy your trip!
Thanks, Jackie! It’s just a quick trip to visit family, so I won’t be taking photos.
Geraniums turn into shrubbery out here because they last all year. I like them contained like this.
very beautiful
Thank you, Chloe. 🙂
Great shot and enjoy your trip!
Hey, thanks, TBM!
I hope it won’t be too humid.
California has such luck to have these almost consecutively ! Gorgeous !
Thank you! We are indeed lucky to have things blooming all year round.
