“Annette looked at the geraniums, very red against the blue sky. ‘No matter how I try, I cannot find any thread of such a red. My bleeding hearts drip stuff muddy in comparison.’”

  1. Caroline says:

I have lilac and pink geranium but the red are prominent in Switzerland, especially near the Alps.
Hope you have a great time.

  2. Ella Kreilisheim says:

    – and you got the red right, too :O)

  3. That is a great red. I think I like these flowers better than roses. So much more approachable.
    Enjoy your trip!

    • Thanks, Jackie! It’s just a quick trip to visit family, so I won’t be taking photos.

Geraniums turn into shrubbery out here because they last all year. I like them contained like this.

  4. Chloe says:

    very beautiful

  5. TBM says:

Great shot and enjoy your trip!

  6. California has such luck to have these almost consecutively ! Gorgeous !
